I think one of its most powerful features is the ability to do MailerLite automation with ease.

I have chosen to switch from MailChimp to MailerLite for many reasons. MailerLite offers ease of doing opt-in options, more affordable options, easy automation, and various options for email designs.

MailerLite Affordable Options

For small business owners just starting, money is always a huge factor. There will always be apps and tools that are well worth the price. When comparing two tools that offer just about the same features though, being smart about their cost advantages is necessary. MailerLite and MailChimp offer very similar features. They are both email service providers that provide email marketing. The differences come down to price and the differences in their Forever Free Plans.

What I like about MailerLite

Campaigns are very similar to MailChimp. It is easy to switch.
You can have groups of subscribers AND segments.
Just like MailChimp, it is very easy to customize.
Automation is very easy and a lot more robust than the free offerings of MailChimp.
Content upgrades or opt-ins are easier to set up than with MailChimp.

MailerLite in the long run at higher subscriber numbers is cheaper. With MailChimp, you can have up to 2000 subscribers on the Forever Free plan but once you upgrade it starts at $10 for 500 subscribers. MailerLite is free for the first 1000 subscribers and is $10 for all features of the same list size. They also don’t count subscribers that are in multiple groups twice which lowers the overall number of subscribers. Once you grow more MailerLite is cheaper.
